The Launch of "As It Was" My Musings and Memories went well on December 8th, which was a Saturday.  On the Monday following I was advised that the books were to be re-called.  The reason for this was that the cover was defective due to a fault during printing and all the books were to be returned and a New Publication would be done. Everyone who purchased a book would receive a new one.
My time was spent informing customers regarding this matter.  I will be receiving the new shipment sometime the middle of January.
I would like to wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!  THE VERY BEST TO YOU ALL.

It certainly has awhile since my last post.  I spent May through September at the Callingwood Farmers Market, showing, selling and signing my books every Sunday joining a good number of other crafters and merchants.  It was great but the weather was not always great.  As a matter of fact it was mostly pretty bad but we persevered and had a good time talking to the many folks who came to look and purchase.

THE RENAISSANCE IS HOLDING THEIR FALL CRAFT SALE on Saturday, October 27 from 11 to 3 o-cock,  It is located at 89 Avenue and 156 Street .  It is simple to find since it is back of the Meadowlark Shopping Centre and I will be there to talk and show you my books.

I have been busy for the past month finalizing my new book.  It is a Historic Novel based on my memories of life during my time.  It should be released late November or first part of December and I will let you know the exact date I will hold a Book Signing for this Novel, the Title of the Book and location of Signing. I am really excited about showing it to you all.

I have been selling my books at the CALLINGWOOD FARMERS' MARKET for the past few months and will be there until the Thanksgiving weekend.  They are open from 10 A.M to 3 P.M. every Sunday come rain or shine and we never know what to expect until the weekend but we are there to meet and talk to you.

The Market is popular and the variety is endless.  I have been pleased to meet new people from the vicinity and those out of town.  Persons who have purchased my books come back to tell me how much the children they purchased them for enjoyed the book.  Best of all, children have walked by and given me a high five and stated how they enjoyed reading a certain book or all of them and thanked me for writing the stories.

So, if you happen to be there come by my table and I will be pleased to see and talk to you.

Have you ever paid a visit to the Callingwood Farmers' Market at 178 Street & 69 Avenue?  It is a must to see!
It opened May 6th, we all arrived to an entirely new set-up and were pleasantly surprised.
I plan to be there every Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.  Come and see me and I will be happy to talk to you and sign one of my books for you.  They would actually be for your child or grandchild because so far I have published three books for children.  One is for pre-school age and the other two are for early readers aged 6-10 years of age.

An Update

Perhaps some of you may think that I have been hibernating because my last blog was in September.  In a sense you could be right but I have been working on the Historic Novel I want to publish this year.  The Holidays were busy and a bit of a respite from work, however, writers minds are constantly on ideas and we attempt to do so while celebrating or gardening.  I may be partial, but I think I have some very good stories to bring to you.

I also have another book for children started but it will have to wait, although occasionally I write down a few ideas so as not to forget them.

I'm sure you are looking forward to Easter and Spring as much as I am.  It is the time of year when everything starts anew; the trees start to bud, the crocus and tulip send the first leaves up to the sun and warmth and I am ever excited at the sight of  the first robin as it flits from rooftop to tree holding a twig in it's beak to add to the nest it is building.

I hope you will be able to join me on Saturday, April 28th at Chapters West Side.  The address is 9952 - 170 Street.  I will be there for a booksigning of my Books for Children from 11 AM to 4 PM.
