UP-COMING EVENTS
FIRST EVENT - It has been a long and tedious Winter. Good News, Spring is Here! Synonymous with Spring are the return of robins and the start of The Farmers' Markets!
THE CALLINGWOOD MARKET on 178 Sreet and 69 Avenue will open Saturday, May 5th, 2019, from 10 A.M to 3 P.M. Most of us can't wait to beautify our flower beds with flowers and along with tables of plants, interposed you will find Crafters and Writers like myself selling crafts or books at tables of our own.
I am an author and you may have seen and purchased my Books for Children at the Market on previous years. I have now released a book aimed at those 50 years and over. It is my book of memoirs titled "As It Was - My Musings and Memories".
It is a series of stories based on my life as a child on a farm in the 1940"s and then continues with stories of life as an adult in the City of Edmonton.
Written with wit, warmth and humor it is Great Reading! It is a book both men and women can relate to and Mothers' Day is May 21st.
I would be most happy to meet and talk with you! I will also bring my Childrens' books.
SECOND EVENT - I will be at CHAPTERS WESTSIDE STORE, 9952 - 170 Street for a Book Signing on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Once again it would be my great pleasure to meet, talk to you and sign your book on purchase.
I will be showing my newly published Book titled "As It Was - My Musings and Memories." It is written with wit and humor and each story has something of interest to tell.
Perhaps some will note that the date of the Book Signing of the above has been changed from Saturday, July 6th to Saturday, July 13th. Chapters Westside wrote me to request the change and since either day suited me I agreed with the change. Looking forward to seeing you all on JULY 13.
It has been great to see so many of you stop by my table to talk and look at my books at the Callingwood Market the past two Sundays. It was a great pleasure to talk to you and sign any books purchased from me. Thank you! I will be there again this Sunday and through the summer providing all goes well.
